Students will not be able to proceed with the loan application without guarantor feedback. Upon submission of the application, the guarantor will be sent an SMS with a link to verify their identity, accept the privacy policy, and upload their valid ID.

If the guarantor consent link expired, kindly let us know by answering our Contact Us form. Please select "Guarantor/Guardian link concerns" in the concern type dropdown list. As for the "How can we help you?" field, kindly indicate that you wish to have the guarantor consent link re-sent.
Once the application has been approved and the student has confirmed the installment offer through their Bukas account, their guarantor will receive an SMS containing the signing link.
The guarantor will receive this SMS:
On your Bukas account, you will see a banner informing you that we are currently waiting for your guarantor’s feedback. If you see this banner but your guarantor did not receive any SMS from Bukas containing the consent link, kindly inform us by answering our Contact Us page. Please select "Guarantor/Guardian link concerns" in the concern type dropdown list. As for the "How can we help you?" field, kindly indicate that you wish to have the guarantor consent link re-sent.
If your guarantor changed their mobile number during the application process, kindly let us know by answering our Contact Us page. Please select "Guarantor/Guardian link concerns" in the concern type dropdown list. As for the "How can we help you?" field, kindly indicate that you wish to change your guarantor’s mobile number.
You will receive the guarantor mobile number field as a revision on your Bukas account.
Once you have successfully updated your guarantor’s mobile number, kindly let us know by answering our Contact us form. Please select "Guarantor/Guardian link concerns" in the concern type dropdown list. As for the "How can we help you?" field, kindly indicate that you wish to have the guarantor consent link re-sent.
During your application process, your guarantor will receive (2) two links from us:
The Guarantor CONSENT link
The Guarantor SIGNING link
Once the application has been approved and the student confirms the installment offer, the guarantor will automatically receive a signing link on their Bukas registered mobile number. For the approved amount to be sent to the selected school, both the student and guarantor must complete the confirmation process – the student on their Bukas account and the guarantor on the signing link they have received via SMS.
To summarize, on the consent link, the guarantor consents to be included in the student’s application. While on the signing link, they confirm their participation as guarantor in the installment plan and fully agree to the disbursement of the approved amount.
