This is good news since more students can now receive the life-changing transformation of an Atenean education—with the help of Bukas’ tuition installment plans to finance their studies from Day 1 until graduation.

All college and graduate students are welcome to apply regardless of year level, program, and GPA standing. Even students with existing scholarships!

What is a Bukas tuition installment plan?

A Bukas tuition installment plan, or simply a student loan, is a safe, secure, and flexible way to pay for your tuition. When you choose to pay with Bukas, we can cover up to 100% of your tuition for the semester while you pay back the amount within 6, 9, or 12 monthly installments. Take note that every installment plan comes with an interest rate ranging from 1.9 - 4.9% every month and a one-time service fee of 4.5% - 10%.

If ever you want to pay off your tuition plan earlier, you can do so without any early termination or other penalties. Bukas only charges interest for the months you consume your tuition plan so managing your fees is flexible to you and your finances!

How does the Bukas tuition installment plan work?

When you apply and get approved for an installment plan, Bukas will pay your tuition directly to Ateneo. You will then have to pay your Bukas monthly dues for your preferred tenor or loan length. For example, if you need Php 100,000 for your tuition next semester, you can get that covered by Bukas and pay only Php 10,608.33 every month. This sample computation is based on a tuition plan with 1.9% monthly interest and a one-time 4.5% service fee.

How can Ateneo students apply for a tuition installment plan?

Applying for a Bukas tuition installment plan is simple and convenient. Our whole process is done online so there’s no need to print out application forms and wait in long lines. Just make sure to have your requirements and documents ready and follow these simple steps!

1. Create your account at https://app.bukas.ph
2. Fill-out the application form. Upload all your documents.
3. Submit your application. Wait for feedback and approval within 3-5 working days.

Once your application is approved, make sure to confirm your tuition plan agreement through your Bukas account. When confirmed, Bukas will then disburse your approved tuition amount directly to Ateneo. After that, you’re good to go! You can consider yourself officially enrolled for the semester and start repaying your monthly dues to Bukas through our official payment partners.
