What is the “Balik-aral with Bukas'' program?

The “Balik-aral with Bukas” program is a joint initiative of Bukas and NTC that aims to help students continue their studies for S.Y. 2021-2022 despite the financial difficulties brought about by the pandemic.

Sa pamamagitan ng pre-approved tuition installment plans, qualified NTC students who apply at bukas.ph/s/ntc-app are guaranteed to receive full tuition coverage (including previous balance) from Bukas para makapag enroll sa 1st semester ng S.Y. 2021-2022. Students can then pay for the total amount in 12 months instead of a one-time payment option–mas magaan na paraan ng pagbabayad para sa mabigat na bayarin!

What are the benefits of applying under the “Balik-aral with Bukas” program?

Students who qualify under the “Balik-aral with Bukas'' program have been pre-selected by NTC for a Bukas tuition installment plan. Kung kasama ka rito, ibig sabihin ay makakatanggap ka ng full tuition coverage to settle your previous balance at mabayaran ang tuition amount na kakailanganin mo para sa incoming 1st semester of S.Y. 2021-2022.

Since applicants under the “Balik-aral with Bukas” program have already been pre-approved, you can expect a faster application and approval process. That way, mas mabilis at madali na ang pagbabalik mo sa NTC!

How much is the interest rate and how much will I pay monthly?

While the application process will be fast-tracked for applicants under the “Balik-aral with Bukas” program, pareho pa rin ito sa interest rates ng regular Bukas tuition installment plans na may 1.5% monthly interest at 3% one-time service fee. It will also be payable in 12 monthly installments.

Please take note that the total amount that students need to pay every month will depend on the tuition amount that they will need. Please refer to the sample computation below.

Total Previous Balance: P12,000

Total Tuition for 1st Sem 2021-2022: P18,000

Total Tuition Covered by Bukas: P30,000

Interest Rates: 1.5%/mo for 12 months and one-time service fee of 3%

Length of Installment Plan: 12 months

Monthly Due: P3,025/mo for 12 months

Who can apply for Project BTS?

Only qualified NTC students can apply for the “Balik-aral with Bukas” program.

Para malaman kung pasok ka sa program, you should have received an email and SMS from NTC or Bukas between June to Aug 2021 tungkol sa iyong pre-approved plan. Make sure to check your Spam folder in your email in case you missed it.

If you did not receive anything, you may not be qualified for the program. But don’t worry! Pwede ka pa rin naman mag-apply for a tuition installment plan through the Bukas website or download the app on Google Play Store.

How do I apply?

Para makapag-apply sa “Balik-aral with Bukas” program, make sure you fill out and submit the application form by 12PM on September 5, 2021.

After you submit your application, NTC will be conducting a special enrollment period for Balik-Aral with Bukas students from July 26 to Sept 5, 12pm. During this period, you should go to the NTC student portal to enroll for the upcoming semester (make sure to select "Installment 2" under payment options). Bukas will only process students that have submitted a complete application and have enrolled in NTC on or before Sept. 5 at 12pm.

When is the deadline for applications?

Applications for the “Balik-Aral with Bukas'' program will only be accepted until 12PM September 5, 2021. Huwag kalimutang mag-enroll din sa NTC student portal between July 26 to September 5 (12pm) to complete your application.

Siguraduhin matapos ang lahat ng requirements within the deadline since late submissions will not be processed. The earlier you apply, the better!

I am interested in applying for a Bukas plan but I am not qualified. Can I still apply?

Only qualified students who received the SMS or email notification from NTC can apply for the pre-approved tuition installment plan. Don’t worry! Kahit hindi ka eligible for the program, you can still apply for a tuition installment plan directly on the Bukas website or via the Bukas app.

What if may pambayad na po ako ng full installment plan, pwede ko ba bayaran in full before the 12 months? (Pre-termination)

Yes. Pwede mong bayaran in full ang tuition installment plan mo with Bukas before completing your 12-month plan. If you pay ahead of your 12th month, makakatanggap ka rin ng interest rebate o adjustment because we will only charge you interest for the months that you consumed. For example, kung binayaran mo in full ang tuition installment plan mo after 8 months, pwede kang makakuha ng rebate for the 4 months that you did not consume.

Can I apply for Balik-Aral with Bukas but only use it to pay for my previous balance?

No. Ang Balik-aral with Bukas program with NTC ay ginawa upang matulungan ang NTC students ipagpatuloy ang kanilang pag-aaral sa darating na semester ngayong S.Y. 2021-2022. Dahil dito, fixed ang coverage ng program para sa previous balance at sa full tuition ng 1st sem S.Y. 2021-2022.

Will this cover my tuition for the 2nd Semester S.Y. 2021-2022?

Currently, our plan will only cover previous balances and full tuition for the 1st Semester of S.Y. 2021-2022. But you can always visit the Bukas website to apply for additional tuition coverage for the succeeding semesters. For more information on multiple installment plans visit here.
