About Co-Borrower Links

Your Co-borrower plays a crucial role in your Bukas student loan application, and your application cannot proceed without their participation. There are two key points where we need your co-borrower's action via a link:


(1) Co-borrower Consent Link (During Application Processing)

Upon submission of your application, your co-borrower will receive an SMS with a consent link.

This link is essential for them to:

  • Confirm the clauses and their awareness of being listed as a co-borrower in your student loan application.
  • Submit a copy of their valid ID and agree to the terms and conditions.

Note: This link expire, so please encourage your co-borrower to complete this as soon as possible.


Expired Consent Link?

If the link expired, simply contact us, and kindly let us know by filling out this form. Please select your concern type from the dropdown list, and in the "How can we help you?" field, kindly indicate that you wish to have the "CO-BORROWER CONSENT LINK RE-SENT".


(2) Co-borrower Signing Link (Upon Loan Approval)

Once your Bukas student loan is approved, for the amount to be disbursed to your selected school, both the borrower and co-borrower must complete the confirmation process. The borrower will confirm on their Bukas account, while your co-borrower will use the signing link they receive via SMS.


To summarize: The consent link confirms your co-borrower's agreement to be included in your application, while the signing link confirms their full participation as a co-borrower in the student loan plan and their agreement to the disbursement of the approved amount.


Frequently Asked Questions

How will I know if the consent link has been sent to my co-borrower?

On your Bukas account, you will see a banner informing you that we are currently waiting for your Co-borrower’s feedback. If you see this banner and your Co-borrower did not receive any SMS from Bukas containing the consent link, kindly inform us by filling out this form. Please select your concern type from the dropdown list, and in the "How can we help you?" field, kindly indicate that you wish to have the "CO-BORROWER CONSENT LINK RE-SENT".

My co-borrower changed their mobile number. How can they change their number on my Bukas account?

If your co-borrower changed their mobile number during the application process, please contact us. Please select your concern type from the dropdown list, and in the "How can we help you?" field, type "REQUEST TO CHANGE CO-BORROWER’S MOBILE NUMBER" and include the following information:

  • Your Co-borrower's Full Name
  • Reason for the Request
  • Old Mobile Number
  • New Mobile Number

Once the mobile number has been updated, you will be notified via email. Your co-borrower will also immediately receive the consent link after their Bukas registered mobile number has been updated.


Note: The successful update of your co-borrower's mobile number will depend on the current status of your Bukas application. Ensure all application details are correct and consistent.
