What does Data Inconsistency mean?

We temporarily reject the application when we cannot verify the submitted information or if there are missing or inconsistent details.

Sample scenarios of these are:

  • The applicant's name does not match the name on their submitted ID
  • The student/beneficiary of the tuition installment plan was not included in the loan application.
  • No nominated income provider.
  • Listed Co-borrower is an OFW**

What do I do when my application is Rejected due to Data Inconsistency?

When your application is rejected due to Data Inconsistency, you can reapply immediately. On your Bukas registered email address, you will receive an email containing a brief explanation of why we could not process your application. It is important to read this before resubmitting an application. If you need any assistance with your reapplication, you can reach us by sending us an email through our Contact Us page

Why can't I nominate an overseas worker co-borrower?

Once your application is approved, you and your co-borrower will be asked to confirm the installment offer. Because your co-borrower's signing link will be sent to their Bukas registered mobile number, we strictly do not allow applicants to nominate overseas workers as their co-borrowers. Instead, you can nominate the recipient of their remittance as your co-borrower. If you (the borrower) are the recipient of their remittances, you can nominate your spouse, parent, sibling, or any family member, or even a friend
