To help you pay for your studies as a proud Tamaraw, here are some scholarship programs that are available for both incoming and current students in the university!

Entrance Scholarship

This is a scholarship granted to incoming freshmen with high scores in the Far Eastern University College Admissions Test (FEU CAT). The tuition coverage ranges from 25-100% depending on the student’s academic ranking in high school. Qualified students also receive a discount on their miscellaneous fees.

Qualifications:

• Must have a high school grade point average of at least 90
• Must belong to the top 10% of high school batch
• Must have high scores in the FEU CAT

Requirements:

• Accomplished information sheet with 2x2 ID picture
• Form 138 / Grade 12 report card
• Certificate of good moral character
• Certificate indicating that the student belongs to the top 10% of the graduating high school batch

Duration: 4-5 years (depends on the degree program)

Maintenance:

• Must be a regular student
• Grade point average of at least B (3.0)
• No grade lower than C+ (2.5)
• No major offense (as determined by FEU’s code of conduct)

Note: Since walang entrance exam ang FEU for its online learning setup, the academic performance of incoming freshmen in high school will be the basis for scholarship eligibility.

Long-Term Educational Assistance Program (LEAP)

This is a scholarship granted to qualified and deserving students coming from low-income families. This includes a full tuition coverage, a discount on miscellaneous fees, and additional allowances.

Qualifications:

• Must come from a low-income family not earning more than Php 100,000 per year
• Qualifying marks on the FEU CAT
• Must be physically and mentally fit*

Requirements:

• Accomplished application form
• Two (2) recommendation letters addressed to the Admissions and Financial Assistance Director (attach photocopy of recommender’s valid ID)
• Latest tax exemption certificate / income tax return of both parents
• Map of residence from FEU including nearest landmarks
• Certificate of good moral character (for incoming freshmen)
• Latest health certification from the University Health Service
• Latest guidance clearance from the Guidance and Counseling Office (for current FEU students)
• Printout of grades from the student portal (for current FEU students)

Duration: 4-5 years (depends on the degree program)

Maintenance:

• Must be a regular student
• Grade point average of at least C (2.0)
• No major offense (as determined by FEU’s code of conduct)

Note: Since walang entrance exam ang FEU for its online learning setup, the academic performance of incoming freshmen in high school will be the basis for scholarship eligibility.

*The student’s physical and mental fitness will be evaluated by the school’s University Health Service and Guidance and Counseling Office; certificates from both offices are required from the applicants

FEU Tuition Discount

This is a full tuition scholarship granted to current FEU students coming from families with an income of Php 360,000 or less per year.

Qualifications:

• Grade point average of at least C (2.0) in the previous semester
• Must be enrolled with a minimum load of 15 units
• Family income must not exceed Php 360,000 per year
• No failing grade or dropped subjects in the previous semester
• No major offense (as determined by FEU’s code of conduct)

Requirements:

• Accomplished application form
• Latest tax exemption certificate or income tax return of both parents*
• Notarized affidavit of No or Low Income indicating the estimated monthly income
• Notarized affidavit of No Financial Support and Single Parent Certificate (if applicable)
• Certificate of indigency (if applicable)
• Certificate of position from the Student Development (for student leaders)

Duration: One semester (renewable)

*If income tax return is not available, submit a certificate of non-filing of tax or tax exemption from the BIR; for parents working abroad, submit a photocopy of a contract showing their monthly salary

Graduate Studies Tuition Discount

This scholarship is granted to alumni, government employees, and public school teachers. The tuition coverage ranges from 25- 75% depending on the student’s application type.

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in a graduate program
• Must be enrolled with at least 6 units per semester

Requirements:

• Alumni

- Copy of transcript of records / college diploma / alumni ID

- Certificate of registration

• Government Employees

- Latest certificate of employment*

- Certificate of registration

• Public School Teacher

- Latest certificate of employment*

- Certificate of registration

Duration: One semester (renewable)

Maintenance: Renewable based on the student’s academic performance

*Must indicate the applicant’s one (1) year work experience (minimum), and must indicate that the applicant is a full-time or regular employee (government employee/public school teacher)
