1-Billion Milestone: Championed student loans in the Philippines
Five years into our mission of helping improve the education sector in the country, Bukas proudly mark a momentous milestone of funding over one billion worth of tuition for Filipino students. This achievement represents 21,000 students helped in more than 100 partner campuses nationwide. More than just a number, these are families impacted, hopes reignited, and dreams realized. Bukas Gadget Loans: Championed affordable, quality learning tools for all
Bukod sa patuloy na pag-improve ng Bukas application process, we also offered a new product this year to make studying easier and simpler for our borrowers. With Bukas Gadget Loans, we hope to make learning tools like laptops and tablets more accessible and affordable for both students and faculty members so they can study and teach better with quality devices within reach and well within their budget.
Bukas' 5th anniversary: Championed accessible education in the Philippines
This year holds a significant milestone for Bukas as we celebrated our fifth year anniversary last February 2024. What started as an idea in a coffee shop back in 2019 has grown to become a full-fledged company that has served thousands of students nationwide. Bukas started with students in mind, and it will always be true whether it’s five, fifteen or fifty years from now. Tara, samahan niyo kami. High five, Bukas!

2024 was a year filled with meaningful impact for Bukas. By our definition, impact is really more about people served than profits gained. While we celebrate both, we measure this year’s success by the people we helped and the people who helped us make it this far. Walang Hiyang Estudyante Awards 2024: Championed unique student journeys
True to our commitment of championing students to own the future, we welcomed the sophomore batch of awardees for Walang Hiyang Estudyante Awards, our pioneering student awards which recognizes students who created their own path in their studies. For WHE Awards 2024, we not only awarded students from Central Luzon all the way to the Visayas, kinilala rin natin ang kanilang support system or, as we like to call them, their WHE Champions. With Bukas and a strong support system rallying behind them, more and more students are empowered to boldly and unashamedly create a better tomorrow for themselves.

Last but definitely not the least, we are grateful for you, our student community! Kayo ang champion namin sa Bukas. Maraming salamat sa patuloy na pagtitiwala at pagsuporta sa Bukas. Hanggang may isang estudyante na patuloy na nagsusumikap, nag-aaral at nangangarap para sa magandang kinabukasan, nandito ang Bukas. ‘Wag kang mag-alala. Hindi ka naman nag-iisa. Gagawin natin nang sama-sama.
