To say the least, 2025 was an important chapter for Bukas. It holds a lot of defining moments that brought us to where we are today. We explored new opportunities, worked through different challenges, and redefined what it looks like to create a better tomorrow for you—our valued student community!

More than just a loan provider, Bukas has grown and evolved to be your education partner as you create your own path and own your future. Mula umpisa hanggang dulo, kasama namin kayo. At nagpapasalamat kaming hinayaan niyo kaming maging parte ng inyong pag-aaral at patuloy na pag-abot sa inyong mga pangarap ngayong 2025. On that note, we are happy to share some wins we have achieved together this year!

More than just numbers: 60 partner school in 6 years

May Bukas na in over 60 partner schools and 115 campuses nationwide! This year, we marked our sixth year as an education financing company and proudly welcomed five new partners in our list: Davao Doctors College, La Salle Ozamis, Saint Jude College Dasmariñas, University of the Immaculate Conception, and the newly launched Unilab Education.

More than just numbers, this achievement represents 27,000 students helped and over 1.2 billion pesos in tuition funding. And the best part? These numbers represent families served, dreams reignited, and futures changed because education was well within reach. Apir!

More than just customer support: Introducing Jared

As a student-first brand, we are committed to giving you, our valued borrowers, the best application experience. This means listening to your feedback and doing something about it! Ngayong taon, we made sure help is accessible and readily available for students, parents, and guardians alike—whether that be online or offline.

Here are some efforts that allowed our team to serve you better this year:

Bukas Help Center. We updated and optimized our Help Center pages so that you can find the answers you’re looking for in the easiest way possible. Got questions about Bukas? Nasa Help Center ang sagot!

Bukas Caravans. We get it. Some questions are better asked face to face. This year, we set up help desks in select campuses all-year round. Yes, kahit hindi enrollment! This allowed us to meet a lot of you in person, assist you on campus, and hear your stories beyond a screen. Kung gusto mong makakuha ng updates sa Bukas Caravan schedule next year, make sure to follow us on social media.

Live communication channels. Help knows no distance! This year, we explored new ways to reach our borrowers, especially those that could not physically visit our help desks on campus. Through online live channels such as Bukas Hotlines and virtual Bukas Caravans, we were able to assist a lot of you via phone call and Zoom, and resolve concerns through scheduled appointments. Talk about the wonders of technology!

Chat with Jared. Last but not least, we introduced Jared this year—our first ever AI support bot that answers inquiries in real time 24/7. Now, you can get help with your Bukas application anytime, anywhere. Pumunta ka lang sa Bukas Meta page at i-chat si Jared sa Messenger!

More than just a campaign: Ang Classroom ng Mga Walang Hiyang Estudyante

For three years now, we have championed students’ unique journeys towards their education and dreams through the Sa’yo Ang Bukas campaign. Mapa-working student, scholar, transferee, shiftee, student parent, career shifter o ano pa man ang kwento mo, naniniwala kaming may magandang bukas na naghihintay sa’yo. Our latest campaign “More Than Just A Loan” builds on that belief.

Through our latest brand video entitled, “Classroom ng mga Walang Hiyang Estudyante,” our hope is that students like you are reminded of a better tomorrow that awaits you as you take your seat in class, persevere for your studies, and own your unique student journeys. As we always say, sa’yo ang Bukas!
