Next to getting their hard-earned diplomas, fresh graduates are either excited to join the workforce or nervously excited to take the boards and get their professional license. That is, if their chosen careers require licensure exams. Alin ka sa dalawa?

Kahit na maraming board exams ang postponed at rescheduled due to the pandemic, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the agency that regulates and supervises our professional workforce, were able to administer three board exams in February 2021!

So whether you’re here for the results or interesado kang malaman ang top performing schools in your chosen field, here are the highlights you need to know!

University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB) aka the lone top performing school in the February 2021 Veterinarian Licensure Exam

Last February 2-4, 2021, UPLB’s College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) garnered a 92.45% passing rate with 49 passers out of 53 takers in the Veterinarian Licensure Exam. Not to mention, galing din sa kanila ang 5 out of 10 topnotchers. Galing!

With a consistent record of board topnotchers and stellar passing rate every year, it’s safe to say UPLB is your best bet in Vet. Fun fact: six years ang undergrad program sa CVM!

What’s the passing rate for the Veterinarian Licensure Exam?

41.95% passing rate! PRC announced that 292 out of 696 passed the exam for February 2021. Mas mababa sa huling exam noong August 2019 with a 48.82% passing rate.

What are the top performing schools in the Veterinarian Licensure Exam?

Only UPLB was listed as a top performing school for the February 2021 board exam.

Note: Para makasama ang isang school sa listahan, the school should have at least 50 examinees at dapat itong makakuha ng at least 80% overall passing rate sa boards.

Who are the board topnotchers in the Veterinarian Licensure Exam?

Top 1: Jerard Angelo Ramos Rayala (86.22%), Central Luzon State University

Top 2: Keighley Shayne Ycaza Wee-ebol (85.50%), University of the Philippines Los Baños

Top 3: Christian Kenneth Mapa Soliven (85.32%), Central Luzon State University

When is the next Veterinarian Licensure Exam?

According to the exam schedule released by the PRC, the next Veterinarian Licensure Exam will be on August 4-6, 2021. If you’re planning to apply, may oras ka pa para mag-aral. Online processing of applications starts on May 4, 2021 (Tuesday) and ends on July 5, 2021 (Monday). Good luck, future vets!

Adamson University (AdU) grads soar high in the Geologist Licensure Exam

Adamsonian alumni Nicole Jean Mercado and Vince Joven Nazario made the University proud by besting 106 other board exam takers in the February 2021 Geologist Licensure exam held last February 16-18, 2021.

Mercado and Nazario, who are first and second place topnotchers respectively, continue Adamson’s streak of Geology board exam topnotchers since 2016. Good job AdU pero no pressure para sa mga aspiring Adamsonian geologists next year ha!

What’s the passing rate for the Geologist Licensure Exam?

The February 2021 board exam has a 59.26% passing rate. This is higher compared to a 55.39% passing rate noong November 2019. Congrats, geologists!

What are the top performing schools in the Geologist Licensure Exam?

University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP) Davao City and University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) are the only top performing schools in the February 2021 boards. May 100% passing rate ang USEP while UPD follows with a 91.57% passing rate.

Who are the board topnotchers in the Geologist Licensure Exam?

Top 1: Nicole Jean Lopez Mercado (85.40%), Adamson University

Top 2: Vince Joven Laderas Nazario (82.70%), Adamson University

When is the next Geologist Licensure Exam?

According to the exam schedule released by the PRC, the next Geologist Licensure Exam will be on November 16-18, 2021. That gives you plenty of time to prepare! Online processing of application starts on August 16, 2021 (Monday) and ends on October 18, 2021 (Monday). Kaya mo ‘to, future geologist!

33.60% passing rate! PRC announced that 495 out of 1,473 passed the exam for February 2021. Mas mababa sa huling exam noong August 2019 with a 46.31% passing rate.

What are the top performing schools in the Social Worker Licensure Exam?

Out of 101 schools represented in the February boards, four schools were qualified as a top performing school, namely: Mindanao State University- Marawi City, Lourdes College, Southern Christian College, and Bohol International Learning College- Bohol.

Mindanao State University- Marawi City leads the rank with an impressive 94.95% passing rate. Great job, mga isko’t iska!
