Can Returning Students Apply for a Bukas Student Loan?

Returning Students are those who re-enroll after a break in enrollment of one or more semesters. Bukas is here to help them continue their studies!


To confirm status as a returning student and apply for a Bukas Student Loan, kindly send an email to [email protected] with the following information:

  • Subject Line: Returning Student - [Full Name of Student]
  • Reference Code:
  • Name of student:
  • School and Campus:
  • Student Number:
  • Year Level:
  • Amount Requested:
  • Last Enrolled Academic Year and Semester:
  • Have you Graduated from the School? (Yes/No)


Setup a Bukas account and kindly upload one (1) of the following documents. These documents should contain the student’s name, student number, and the total outstanding balance.

  • Statement of Account:
    • The Statement of Account should be dated within the last month.

  • Email from the School’s Accounting Office/Registrar:
    • The email or screenshot should show the outstanding balance and must clearly show that the sender is from the school (email address or signature visible).

  • Screenshot of Student Portal/Student Ledger:
    • This should include the most recent payment/transaction.
