How to Add Bukas as Your Saved Biller on UnionBank Mobile App

For a hassle-free payment experience, Borrowers can now add Bukas as a Saved Biller on the UnionBank Mobile App! This means there's no need to manually type the reference code for every payment transaction.


Steps to Add Bukas as a Saved Biller:

  1. To set Bukas as a Favorite Biller, log in to the UnionBank account.
  2. Click “Pay Bills” on the dashboard and select “Manage Billers”.
  3. Go to “Favorites” and click the add icon.
  4. Select "Bukas Finance Corp." under the list of official billers.
  5. Write the “Agreement Number” (found in Annex B of the disclosure statement) as the Transaction Reference and tick the “Save as biller” toggle switch.


Scheduling Payment Transfers:

This option allows Borrowers to schedule payment transfers. Only a one-time confirmation is needed!

  1. Open the UnionBank app on a mobile phone and log in to the UnionBank account.
  2. Select "Bukas Finance Corp." under the list of official billers.
  3. Type in the Student’s Name and Reference code, then click “Next”.
  4. Write the monthly installment amount due. Borrowers can schedule their payment transfer to a much later date if preferred. A fixed monthly payment transaction that only needs a one-time confirmation can also be set.


Important Notes on Scheduled Payments:

  • Selecting a scheduled payment transfer will automatically process the payment on the selected date. As long as the UnionBank account has the transaction amount initially selected, the payment transfer will proceed without monthly confirmation.
  • Please note that the transaction will only proceed if the UnionBank account contains the amount initially inputted. If not, an email notification will be received informing of the failed payment transfer.
  • Borrowers should ensure the proper frequency of their monthly payment as well as the end date is entered to avoid any inconvenience.
