How do I protect my information?






Dito sa Bukas, hindi lamang ang kinabukasan ng mga estudyante ang binibigyang importansya. To secure our borrowers’ information is also on top of our priority list.

While Bukas continues its efforts on information safekeeping, borrowers can also do their part in protecting their information. Narito ang mga major tips upang mapangalagaan ang inyong data:

Create a strong password, and do not share your password with anyone.

Hindi naman masamang magtago ng sikreto minsan kaya make sure na ikaw lang ang nakakaalam ng password mo for your Bukas account. Even a Bukas employee does not have the right to know your password.

Also, your password’s strength should be high para walang makakahula nito kaagad. Mix alphabets, numbers, and special characters. Then, make sure that you are not using the most obvious numbers for a password (such as your birthdate).

Be mindful of your surroundings.

Always keep your phone locked upang hindi basta-bastang ma-access ang mga apps na ginagamit mo. Kung nasa pampublikong lugar ka naman, maging mapagmatyag while you input sensitive personal information.

Never share your One-Time Password (OTP).

May mga pagkakataong nakakalimutan ang password kaya borrowers use the “Forgot Password” button to reset their password and create a new one. Upang makumpleto ang pag-reset, mayroong matatanggap na OTP. Ang OTP na ito o kahit anumang OTP na matatanggap mula sa Bukas, just like your password, is also highly confidential. Ibig sabihin, ikaw lang din dapat ang makakaalam at wala nang iba pa.
