Making lives better through education with Bukas

Starting on November 29, 2021 (Monday), PHINMA UCL will be joining other PHINMA Education schools in providing students a new tuition payment option through its newly-launched partnership with Bukas.

As a partner school, this means that incoming and currently enrolled PHINMA UCL students in college and graduate school can now avail of a Bukas tuition installment plan to pay for tuition and other school expenses. Alam naming hindi biro ang pagbabayad ng school fees. With this new payment option, mas magaan at abot kaya na ang pag-aaral mo sa PHINMA UCL.

What is a Bukas tuition installment plan?

A Bukas tuition installment plan, or simply a student loan, is an affordable and flexible way to pay for your tuition. Kapag nag-enroll ka sa PHINMA UCL through an installment plan, Bukas can cover up to 100% of your tuition for the semester while you pay back the amount in 12 monthly installments. Take note that every installment plan comes with a flat interest starting from 1.90% to 4.90% per month, and a one-time service fee that ranges from 4.50% to 10%.

Kung gusto mong bayaran nang mas maaga sa 12 months ang plan mo, pwede! Walang penalty o “early termination” fee. Hindi mo rin kailangang mag-alala sa patong patong na interest dahil magbabayad ka lamang nito para sa mga buwan na nagamit mo ang student loan. For example, if you only consumed 3 months of your tuition installment plan, you only need to pay the interest for 3 months.

What fees are covered by Bukas?

Depending on how much you need, Bukas can provide full or partial tuition coverage for your semester at PHINMA UCL. It’s up to you! Bukod sa enrollment period o simula ng school year kung kailan karaniwan na nagbabayad ng tuition, pwede mo rin magamit ang tuition installment plan sa pagbabayad ng school fees for your prelims, midterms o finals. Kahit summer classes pa ‘yan! Pwede kang mag apply sa Bukas all year round.

How does the Bukas tuition installment plan work?

When you apply and get approved for an installment plan, Bukas will pay your tuition directly to PHINMA UCL. You will then have to pay your Bukas monthly dues for 12 months. Halimbawa, kung kailangan mo ng Php 20,000 para sa tuition mo next semester, you can get an installment plan from Bukas and pay only Php 2,121.67 every month. This computation is based on a tuition plan with 1.9% monthly interest and 4.5% one-time service fee.

How can PHINMA UCL students apply for a tuition installment plan?

Mas madali at mabilis na ang pagbabayad ng tuition mo sa tulong ng Bukas! Applying for a tuition installment plan is fully online. No need to print out application forms and wait in long lines. Siguraduhin lamang na tama at kumpleto ang mga requirements at documents mo at sundin ang mga sumusunod na steps:

Step 1: Register and complete your profile via the Bukas app or app.bukas.ph/register

Step 2: Fill out and submit the application form. Maghintay ng 1-2 working days to get feedback from our team via SMS or email! Note that you may be asked to provide additional information via email. Make sure you submit these as soon as possible to avoid delays in processing your application.

Step 3: Once approved, log in to your Bukas account and confirm your application.

Step 4: Once confirmed, Bukas will deposit your full amount directly to PHINMA UCL. Makakatanggap ka ng SMS once it's disbursed. It will also reflect on your Bukas account after 1-2 working days.

Step 5: Study hard and pay your Bukas monthly dues at any of our payment partners.
